Joshua Bowlin began as a wrestler in high school winning multiple regional and city tournaments eventually making it to the state championship. Coach Josh has also maintained an impressive competition record. Winning multiple regional and national championships, compelled Josh to start fighting in amateur MMA where he remains undefeated. In early 2012 he became head instructor at Gracie Barra Columbus and in late 2014 received his black belt from Professor Fabio Costa of Gracie Barra Georgia. Professor Josh competed on a national level as a brown belt, he has competed in the Pan Ams, New York Open, Atlanta Open, and twice at the Worlds. Along with several local tournaments in the southeast. Since Professor Josh started his jiu jitsu journey his attitude has not changed. His passion and undying commitment to the craft is conveyed in not only his charismatic instruction but going above and beyond as a life coach.
